Yes this is not graphic itensive but it resolves this with massive number of features and very openworld.. Loved this game since I first played it in the late 2000's, and I love it now! Great game to pass the time and the story/world building is spot on as usual!. Very well writen story that continues the saga of Exile/Avernum. Exile 3 was introduced me to this world and Avernum 3 does not disapoint.. The third romp through Valorim and still a blast. More faithful to the original (Exile 3) than the last time, better mechanics and streamlined interface don't hurt either. Still miss the 6 character party and the ability to do your own alchemy, but it's probably better this way overall.. To the devs:Just want to say "Thank You" for the remake of Exile3, my first proper windows game back in the windows 3.11 days.It was a long wait, but knowing how large that world was, it could not have been too easy mapping it all out.Love you guys (in a respectful way)."What's the tree for?" hehe.Right, so apologies for those who wanted more of a 'review'..I'll tell a story instead to minimise spoilers:Expedition Force 1 - After duty recon report:"Thats right, we retire!"We are not herbalists, so we skipped the weird class where we would be tought about something called a 'tree', what nonsense.So we snuck up there to see the world that so few in our lifetime had the privilege to do.First off, we found that the enemy has these huge formidable thingies that look like giant mushrooms, which, if we had attended the plant classwould have know much more about.Our weapons did not harm them. Jack lost his sword to one and we could not get the creature to release its ill-gained loot no matter how many arrows we fired at it.Then during our tactical withdrawal we lost Jim who got impaled by a creature with a huge horn on its head.Sandra also didn't make it, some colored gooey things fell on her from one of these mushroom-treethingies and her armor was burnt off or melted completely - the agony shown on her face told us enough.. We regret leaving her behind, but we didn't have time to lose, for this urgent report had to get back to base immediately! That world is a living hell. We will likely outlive whatever is up there staying down here farming edible mushrooms.Perhaps there are some others foolish enough among us to risk such horror and bring back stories of fame and glory.. perhaps someone like.. YOU.. The game is great, but I decided to give a bad review just because of this:-If you stop playing for a couple days when you return you will have no idea what you were doing, no idea where to go, you will have a hard time trying to recollect what was going on using the boring black & white journal. When you arrive at a location you will have no idea if it has any relation to any quest. Yes I am tired of having a yellow exclamation and yellow question marks, but the UI in this game is not really helping.So I don't care if the game is good, the battles are nice, the dungeons are awesome, good sound effects, etc, everything in this game is VERY GOOD, but for me, it is impossible to get back in tracks in this game.Eveytime I open this game I start reading and looking the map and I say "f*** this, I won't be enslaved by this poor UI"Then I give up trying to get back in the game.
