The touch version has been able to provide a decent FM experience without having to pour hundreds of hours into a single save. I play a single nation game on a Surface Go which seems ideal for it, the gameplay experience is fine and doesn't drain the battery within an hour. Not without it's faults, it's lacking some features I used to like (notably team talks) and there are the unpopular micro-transations so you can pay to win, but you don't have to use them. Would recommend for old people like me who don't have the time for a proper game of FM because of real world responsibilities.. I' ve been playing the franchise since 2001/02. I stoppet after 2005, then i tried 2013 and i wanted to test FM2019 Touch edition. Well, overall the game is fun, but it still has the big problem of later seasons. What i mean is that after the 4rth, or the 5th year you get the impession that you don't have the control over your team and the gane goes into an ''automatic pilot'' mode where you just playing different scenarios, 90% of the in the last game of the season. I guess for the new players that seems a challenge, but for me, an old one, is tiring and boring.. Have been a manger of a team for over 20 years so Design a Son should unlock but doesn't. Contacted support on 8th of January and still haven't received a response. No surprise that you have to buy the most desirable "unlockable" as how else can they milk more money from their customers. Shame! The game is fine though, more like Champ manager from back in the day so good for a more casual play through without all the stupid extra bits that just slow you down.
